Responsibilities
- Coach and model exceptional customer service.
- Train and oversee the daily work activity of team members in one or more departments in the store or for specified operational functions.
- Provide daily support, direction, and guidance to customers and team members.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints and escalate problems to the management team when necessary.
- Aid in the daily operation of the store in partnership with the management team and act as the Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the manager or at satellite locations.
- Assist with assigning work and providing focused direction to team members to manage and accomplish multiple projects.
- Process sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments as needed.
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, and trash removal.
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in a retail setting preferred.
- Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age to be considered for employment.
- A high school diploma/GED is preferred.
- Outstanding customer service skills are required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are needed.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
