About the role
Babylist is seeking a Kitting Operations Supervisor for our fulfillment center in Commercial Point, Ohio. This role oversees the kitting line day-to-day, ensuring accurate, fast, and safe product assembly.
Responsibilities
- Staff and run the kitting line, balancing workloads and maintaining accuracy.
- Implement and refine SOPs for assembly workflows, identifying bottlenecks early.
- Monitor kitting output and accuracy metrics, addressing issues proactively.
- Train and coach a team of associates on assembly and kitting workflows.
- Flag and document employee relations issues, escalating as necessary.
- Partner with broader fulfillment leadership to align kitting with FC throughput goals.
- Provide backup leadership coverage in other operational areas as needed.
Requirements
- Kitting Expert: Direct experience running or supervising a kitting or assembly line.
- Process Builder: Ability to write and implement SOPs for assembly workflows.
- Experienced Leader: 5+ years managing people, with 3+ years in warehouse, fulfillment, or manufacturing assembly environments.
- Data-Driven Problem Solver: Comfortable using production data to diagnose and solve throughput or quality issues.
- Tech-Savvy Professional: Experience working in WMS or ERP systems for kitting inventory and staffing needs.
- Employee Relations Aware: Documented experience handling performance or conduct issues, partnering with HR.
- Safety-Focused: Ensuring safety is non-negotiable on a fast-moving assembly line.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing people, with 3+ years in warehouse, fulfillment, or manufacturing assembly environments.
- Experience writing and implementing SOPs for assembly workflows.
- Comfortable using production data to diagnose and solve throughput or quality issues.
- Experience working in WMS or ERP systems for kitting inventory and staffing needs.
- Documented experience handling performance or conduct issues, partnering with HR.
- Ensuring safety is non-negotiable on a fast-moving assembly line.

Pay
$75,500 – $81,800 annually.
Schedule
Core hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM. Buffer time before/after for shift handoff is expected.
