Supervisor, Field Services (NY)
Job Purpose
Responsible for operations at the visitation center while leading the visitation administrator to deliver exceptional quality service for facility staff and Family & Friends.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers and associates to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensures contract requirements are met.
- Led team to meet and exceed company objectives.
- Hires and develops direct reports.
- Scheduling of the team to ensure proper coverage.
- Approves time sheets, time off requests, and expense reports.
- Ensures the technical performance of their team(s) utilizing training courses, etc.
- Responsible for planning and implementation of the budget.
- Analyzes and reduces operating costs.
- Responsible for video visitation access for facility staff.
- Ensure operational readiness and performance for all systems (Security/Avaya Phones/SVV/Securus Workstations/BSO Workstations as required).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Self-Starter with strong work ethic, excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Demonstrates proficient understanding of customer service needs and works to improve the operation of the visitation center.
- Microsoft Operating System experience, including, but not limited to, Outlook, Excel, & Word.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where problem resolution times are measured in hours.
- Must exhibit all the company’s cultural attributes.
- Customer Relationship and Account Management Skills.
- Employee Development and Performance Management Skills.
- Computing and Business Tools experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.).
- Knowledge of computer hardware & telephony.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3+years of relevant experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of supervisor experience in a customer-facing environment.
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and office equipment.
- Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
