Supervisor, Environmental Health and Safety (Hourly) - USA - TN - Memphis - R26-08451
Position Summary
The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Supervisor is based in the Memphis, Tennessee market and provides field-based safety support across active job sites and branch operations. The role will support the growing Memphis operation while also traveling to assist projects and teams in other markets, including states nearby Tennessee, as business needs require. This position is responsible for leading job-site safety activities, conducting inspections, supporting project kickoff meetings, investigating incidents, maintaining safety compliance, and partnering with operations leaders and customers to improve safety performance. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently, moving between multiple job sites, and managing changing priorities in a highly field-oriented environment.
Position Details

- Work environment: Primarily field-based across branch and customer job sites
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct job site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments across multiple active locations
- Lead and participate in project kickoff meetings and other job-site safety meetings
- Support and lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, customer requirements, and company safety standards
- Participate in and support safety stand downs, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
- Maintain strong client-facing relationships and represent operations professionally on job sites
- Support branch operations and field leadership with ongoing safety initiatives and compliance
- Assist with safety reporting, documentation, and administrative tracking responsibilities
- Utilize MS Office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and communication
- Travel throughout the assigned territory and to other markets to support operational and project safety needs
- Support multiple projects simultaneously while managing changing priorities and demands
Qualifications
- Five or more years of Environmental Health & Safety experience
- OSHA 30 certification preferred; OSHA 500/510 or other relevant safety certifications are a plus
- Strong incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment and travel as required
- Experience working in construction, industrial, manufacturing, or related environments preferred
- A college degree is not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Travel Requirements
- Frequent local travel throughout the Memphis market, with approximately 30% overnight and out-of-state travel
- A car allowance will be provided; rental vehicles may be used for travel exceeding 99 miles in accordance with company policy
