About the role

This is a working supervisor position that oversees and facilitates the day-to-day work of the Diagnostic Imaging (DI) general radiography staff. The role involves communication with radiologists, other physicians, the Diagnostic Imaging director and managers, patients, families, and others. The supervisor conducts and performs procedures in the assigned technical area, contributes to departmental goals, and provides input for budget planning and policy creation or revision.

The DI Supervisor for imaging will make recommendations to the manager regarding policy modifications, work methods, and strategies. They will also supervise and evaluate DI personnel and activities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and facilitate the day-to-day work of Diagnostic Imaging staff.
  • Communicate with radiologists, physicians, department leadership, patients, and families.
  • Conduct and perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the assigned technical area.
  • Contribute to departmental goals, budget planning, and policy development.
  • Provide recommendations for policy modifications, work methods, and strategies.
  • Supervise and evaluate Diagnostic Imaging personnel and activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or two years of an accredited Radiological Technology program plus two years of sub-specialty training.
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist license (upon hire).
  • National Certification from one of the following (upon hire):
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or
    • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or
    • Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
  • 2 years of Diagnostic Imaging Technologist experience.
  • 2 years of DI lead worker experience or demonstrated progressively responsible leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of DI supervisor experience.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $51.08 - $80.64 per hour. These amounts reflect the base pay range; additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

Full time, Day shift.
