About the role
The Environmental Enforcement Section is seeking an attorney to supervise the Criminal Prosecution Unit. The ideal candidate will have four or more years of litigation experience and excellent oral, written, and client communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise prosecutors
- Manage a criminal docket
- Serve as lead and co-counsel in criminal prosecutions in numerous state courts, including as trial counsel in hearings, bench trials, and jury trials
Requirements
This position will work a hybrid in-person/remote schedule. There may be changes to this schedule based on training and operational needs. The headquarter location is 30 E. Broad St., Columbus.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio pursuant to Section 4705.01 of the Ohio Revised Code
- Prior experience with environmental law (4 years or more of litigation experience) preferred
