About the role

This is a non-union position at Enbridge, where we focus on delivering safe, reliable energy while driving financial excellence and innovation. As Supervisor, Construction, Design & Asset Management, based in Houston, TX, you will guide a team of skilled professionals to complete a diverse portfolio of construction and renovation projects. Your responsibilities include maintaining facilities that are safe, reliable, and aligned with business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a group of Project Managers to deliver safe, compliant, high-quality projects while balancing resources across the portfolio.
  • Lead all aspects of construction and renovation projects from planning through turnover, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Establish project expectations and governance for scope, cost, schedule, safety, risk, and performance, ensuring adherence to corporate and engineering criteria.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, communicate status updates, raise risks, and maintain reporting on schedule, cost, change, safety, and project outcomes.
  • Identify emerging issues, remove obstacles, and implement recovery strategies to address impacts to safety, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support asset management planning by assessing asset condition, recommending renewal strategies, and aligning investments with business risk and lifecycle needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction, project management, facilities, design, engineering, or asset management. Additional 3 years of experience required if no degree is held (total of 9+ years).
  • Proven ability to lead Project Managers and cross-functional project teams.
  • Strong expertise in construction delivery, building systems, design coordination, project controls, commissioning, and project closeout.
  • Solid understanding of industry codes, permitting, regulatory requirements, governance, contract administration, and technical standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, risk management, and project execution skills, capable of managing budgets, schedules, vendors, forecasts, and performance reporting.

  • Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid environment including office-based planning, virtual collaboration, and frequent onsite activity at Enbridge offices, operating facilities, construction sites, and vendor or supplier locations.
  • Regular travel within the assigned region and periodic longer-distance travel based on project and business needs.
  • A valid driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required which will be validated before hire.
  • Extended computer and meeting time for planning, reporting, and collaborator coordination, combined with site visits.
