Supervisor Compression Engineering

About the role

The Supervisor Compression Engineering position is available at Boardwalk Pipeline Partners' Owensboro, KY office. This role plays a pivotal role in ensuring effective planning, execution, and continuous improvement of Tier 3 mechanical engineering support for all equipment within natural gas compressor stations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a specialized team responsible for performance analysis of centrifugal and reciprocating compressors
• Lead project management and select initiatives
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting including vibration and pulsation analysis
• Guide a team of engineers to ensure technical excellence, operational reliability, and alignment with company goals and values

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience
• Proven record of supporting compressor station operations in an engineering capacity (energy, utilities, or similar sectors preferred)
• Strong management skills
• Experience with relevant software tools for compressor performance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and manage change
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards specific to compressor stations
• Experience in analyzing complex technical problems and developing effective solutions
• Experience in budgeting and resource management
• Able to travel up to 20% of the time
