Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Supervisor, Coding, you will lead daily coding operations within our Revenue Cycle division, ensuring high standards of timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency in the assignment of ICD-9/10, CPT, and HCPCS codes. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance, optimizing reimbursement, and resolving complex coding and billing issues.

• Supervise, coach, and train a dedicated team of coders and data entry specialists.
• Foster a positive work environment and address performance issues when necessary.
• Conduct quality reviews and provide essential education and training on coding processes, policies, and systems.
• Resolve complex coding problems and act as a key liaison to coordinate with physicians, practice managers, and other stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Required: Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience in the discipline, or a Master's degree and at least 3 years of experience in the discipline.
• Essential certifications: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
• Prior healthcare billing experience preferred.

Pay Range

$27.97 - $41.60 /hour
