About the role
Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a new facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervising the Cage operation, Player Services and Sports Wagering.
- Responsible for guest service, relations and disputes to assure that our guests have a favorable gaming experience.
- Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and guests.
- Facilitates, processes and programs to effectively control and reduce loss time injuries.
- Absorb and communicate information about Cage activities and promotions to frontline Cage team members.
- Assist in the recruitment process including job postings and recruiting metrics.
- Delegates duties and assigns responsibilities to staff as well as completes and processes performance reviews.
- Assists in the development of Team Members, conducts interviews and participates in the selection, hiring, coaching, retention and termination process.
- Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
- Abide by and ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed to safeguard the gaming assets and funds.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Two to Five years of experience in cage operations and supervision with a 2-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license and Race and Sportsbook Employee License.
Skills
Management abilities demonstrated in managing the Cage profitability. Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel. Oral and written communication skills. Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the department.
Qualifications
Education and Experience: - Two to Five years of experience in cage operations and supervision with a 2-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
