About the role
The role oversees quality and service, work unit safety, strategic planning, document management, financial management, and new service development. Responsibilities include managing and developing staff, assisting with hiring and onboarding, supervising Allied Health Staff, Research Temporary Professionals, Interns, and collaborating with Principal Investigators.
Responsibilities
- Oversees oversight of quality and service, work unit safety, strategic planning, document management, financial management, and new service development.
- Manages and develops staff.
- Affords assistance with hiring and onboarding new staff, as well as off-boarding staff.
- Serves as supervisor for Allied Health Staff, Research Temporary Professionals, Interns, etc.
- Collaborates with Principal Investigators for effective program management through workforce planning, space, capital, equipment, and facilities planning.
- Works with Human Resources and Principal Investigators to develop workforce strategies, support employee development, and promote career growth opportunities.
- Oversees equipment orders, equipment receipt, installation, and onboarding of new shared equipment.
- Assists with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or other relevant healthcare disciplines with 2 years of research laboratory experience.
- Must exhibit a solid understanding of lab techniques, equipment, and safety.
- Requires skill in influencing and motivating others.
- Needs excellent communication, organizational, and human relation skills.
- Must have the ability to organize and carry out techniques independently and work both independently and in a team.
- Must have broad-based knowledge of office support and computer systems along with the ability to manage and create spreadsheets and databases.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Pay
$88,044.80 - $132,080.00 / yr
