About the role
TASC (Treatment Alternatives for Stronger Communities) is seeking a full-time Supervisor to oversee the agency's Corrections and Community Reentry Services. The ideal candidate will provide supervision and support to staff, manage caseloads, and offer addiction intervention and recovery services.
Responsibilities
- Provide consistent supervision to all staff within assigned programs
- Serve as direct liaison to Administrator for program related needs and operational issues
- Supervise case managers handling client crisis situations
- Make court appearances and provide expert testimony as appropriate
- Prepare, interpret, and present reports regarding program operations
- Participate in the review of staff performance and the completion of annual performance appraisals
- Provide guidance and support in resolving crisis situations with clients
- Directly provide services to alcohol and drug dependent clients as necessary
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- CADC certification within two years of employment with TASC (may be required based on contractual obligations)
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated experience in group facilitation
- Knowledge of ASAM placement criteria, DSM-V as it relates to substance-related disorders, and Code of Ethics for substance abuse professionals, or the ability to acquire the knowledge
- Flexibility in thinking and approaches to leading group discussions
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
