About the role
The Store Operations Supervisor at Ralph Lauren is responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of merchandise from delivery to display. This includes receiving and unpacking shipments, inspecting items for damage, verifying pricing, and tagging as necessary. The role also involves strategically placing merchandise on the sales floor or stock room, maintaining cleanliness and organization, supporting sales floor associates with stock checks, and promptly delivering requested merchandise.
Responsibilities
- Meticulously receive and unpack shipments, inspect each item for damage, verify pricing, and tag as necessary.
- Strategically place merchandise on the sales floor or stock room, adhering to Ralph Lauren’s standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the stock room.
- Actively support sales floor associates by conducting stock checks.
- Promptly deliver requested merchandise.
- Ensure customers enjoy a premium shopping experience with product displayed at its best.
Requirements
- 3+ years of retail supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of retail operations, policies, and best practices.
- Proficient with Technology; POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
- Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap and office; work around/with chemicals, lift/climb up to 30 lbs., and climb moderately.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, and weekends.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and co-workers.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in visual merchandising and brand standards.
- Knowledge of compliance and policy management.
