Supervisor

About the Role

This Supervisor will oversee daily team operations, acting as a clear link between the team and upper management. The role involves both on-site work in Jacksonville, FL and extensive travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS).

Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates the team.
• Responds to customer concerns in a timely manner.
• Develops local operating instructions, flight operation procedures, and ground operation procedures.
• Creates a workbook containing specific step-by-step instructions to accomplish the work, including component removal, in-process inspections, repairs, and reinstallation.
• Submits reports as required.
• Ensures team complies with safety requirements, Environmental Protective Agency (EPA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
• Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid driver’s license.
• Must have an active Secret Clearance.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in any avionics or electrical aircraft-related discipline, preferably with P-8 series aircraft.
• Must have a valid passport.
• Strong communication and excellent written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge of inspection processes and quality control.
• Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Working Conditions

• Able to work in tight, awkward, and high spaces.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Physical requirements may include bending, twisting, lifting, and climbing.
