Essential Functions
- Coordinating daily work schedules.
- Ensuring the completion and quality of all tasks as established within the work schedules and special projects.
- Evaluating employee performance and initiating corrective action when necessary.
- Coordinating the location’s inventory needs and interfacing with corporate purchasing to maintain proper inventory levels.
- Working closely with the operations manager to access future staffing requirements and work schedules.
- Cooking daily technician and team leader meetings to inform them of the job safety analysis and leading discussions on related topics such as safety, operations, and human resources.
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving operational-based problems.
- Ensuring the established quality standards of the customer are met or exceeded.
- Conducting annual reviews of direct reports and recommending merit increases to ensure compliance with established wage structure for that location.
- Performing nightly administrative tasks, including documenting attendance, work completed, work not completed, customer requests, and providing a status report to the operations/account manager.
Additional Responsibilities
- Making decisions that can potentially stop production at the customer's location.
- Addressing employee relations issues effectively and promptly.
- Making unsupervised decisions within the scope of responsibilities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move up to 50 lbs., with or without accommodation.
- Ability to maintain a consistent workload involving physical manual labor.
- Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
- Ability to position oneself for work conducted in and around confined spaces.
- Ability to wear respirators in environments that may expose you to chemicals, fumes, etc.
- Ability to maintain workloads that may include travel to various states for days or weeks, and daily timeframes exceeding the typical 8-hour shift.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Understanding of the industrial cleaning industry and the ability to lead and motivate others to improve the operation's efficiency and effectiveness.
- Professional oral and written interpersonal communication skills.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably within the industrial cleaning environment or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
