Responsibilities
- Aid in managing parking operations within contractual guidelines.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Foster good client relations and promote a professional image.
- Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of the assigned locations.
- Perform management duties as assigned.
- Courteously assist customers.
- Assist in maintaining and repairing parking equipment and perform general maintenance tasks.
- Report any accidents, violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
- Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills, and other incidents.
- Substitute for other positions as needed.
- Show thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area.
- Complete other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimal high school diploma or equivalent and minimal related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Speaks clearly; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.
- Writes clearly and informatively; reads and interprets written information.
- Maintains a positive attitude; responds to requests for service and assistance; adapts to changes in the work environment; exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
- Holds a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record, if required to drive a company vehicle or drive on company business.
- Can sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Has close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
