Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a Supervisor to lead our manufacturing department or production line. The ideal candidate will manage a team of workers, monitor departmental budgets and ensure high-quality, on-time production.

Responsibilities

• Direct work of employees and leaders to meet quality and on time delivery requirements; address production challenges and communicate to appropriate partners
• Partner with production planner to determine department work flow and schedule; forecast human capital and overtime requirements based on expected business
• Provide consistent and timely feedback, coaching and mentoring to employees on development, performance and conduct
• Monitor, review and approve employee time records in a consistent and timely manner
• Monitor and execute departmental budget, reporting variances to leadership
• Train and coach employees on department work instructions, processes, procedures and policies
• Coach and mentor team leads on leadership skills such as communication, results, accountability, etc.
• Partners with appropriate leader to forecast expected business based on past history, current orders and anticipated business
• Partner with others to drive improvement projects/initiatives
• Wears required personal protective equipment at all times in areas where mandatory

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Requires 5+ years of Production/Machining Supervisor experience
• Shift: Morning Shift Monday thru Friday 7AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime is required)
• Focus: Supervising production areas that utilize machines or automated equipment
• Equipment: Experienced with operating equipment and skilled at diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues
• Lean: Strong 5S & Lean Experience
• Technology: Strong Microsoft Computer Skills
• Processes: Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Pay

Annual Salary: USD 77,009.00 - USD 101,000.00

Schedule

Morning Shift Monday thru Friday 7AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime is required)
