More than 250 experienced crime scene cleanup professionals are dedicated to lifting the burden of cleanup from those who are grieving after tragedies like suicides, homicides, unattended deaths, infectious disease outbreaks, accidents or other biohazard situations by providing emergency rapid response 24/7/365. Relevant backgrounds that have found success at Aftermath include EMTs, mortuary affairs, nursing, CNAs, restoration, mitigation, remediation, asbestos abatement, construction, pest control, etc. Military personnel are encouraged to apply. Important note: This role involves biohazard cleanup (blood, bodily fluids, trauma scenes).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and participate in biohazard remediation projects (blood, bodily fluids, trauma scenes)
• Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards
• Communicate with clients on-site with empathy and professionalism
• Handle project paperwork and scope approvals
• Lead jobs and ensure successful completion (this role does not manage people)

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license + clean driving record
• Local candidate (must respond within 1 hour of call)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in challenging environments
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in restoration, construction, or similar preferred
• Comfortable with dynamic schedules and occasional overnight travel

Qualifications

• IICRC S540 certification or equivalent in biohazard remediation
• Xactimate experience
• A track record of successful community engagement and outreach
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
