About the role

Eversource seeks an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Support Supervisor to lead, direct, and supervise Eversource represented and non-represented employees and contractors. This position is responsible for leading the AMI deployment support team, prioritizing work and schedules, and overseeing the deployment work order lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Supports AMI deployment and the overall AMI program.
  • Provides leadership and supervises assigned staff for exception processing, customer service, records management, analytics, and deployment office support.
  • Plans and supports the overall AMI deployment plan, including tracking deployment activities.
  • Oversees the deployment work order lifecycle from planning to completion.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for AMI deployment system processes.
  • Maintains currency with evolving AMI network and AMI metering technology.
  • Oversees regulatory required transactions and controls, including SOX and Internal Audit compliance.
  • Recommends and oversees training programs for AMI support personnel.
  • Serves as a point of contact for labor relations issues related to AMI deployment.
  • Analyzes and controls company financial budgets, including operations and maintenance, materials, overtime, and capital costs.
  • Assists with analyzing and diagnosing issues causing exceptions in meter and account data.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to address and resolve exceptions.
  • Drives innovation and change in business processes by leading continuous process improvement efforts.
  • Leads projects and organizes cross-functional teams to develop process improvement recommendations.
  • Ensures assigned staff conduct daily tasks in a safe work environment through safety observations and administration of safety programs.
  • May be required to work extended hours during work stoppages, emergency events, or project deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Technical Knowledge/Skill: Technical knowledge in metering and customer operations. Ability to use PC desktop applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Five (5) plus years in Metering or Customer Service related experience. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is: $119,350.00-$132,610.00. This position is eligible for a potential incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience.
