Supervisor 1
Amentum is seeking a qualified Supervisor 1 at our Mayport, Florida site. Availability for occasional weekend hours is necessary.
About the role
The Supervisor will report directly to the Site Manager and coordinate all aspects of the flight schedule, ensuring safe operations. This role oversees maintenance operations, including program quality, logistics, training, analysis, and metrics.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the secondary point of contact with GFR/GGFR.
- Oversee workforce in executing principles, standards, and techniques of operations, QA, GOP, aircraft maintenance, and contract requirements.
- Ensure compliance with federal, DOD, state, and local regulations pertaining to aircraft maintenance and environmental protection.
- Implement strategies and metrics to track performance and apply countermeasure diagnostic tools to address gaps.
- Represent Amentum with professional standards of dress, hygiene, and conduct.
- Set and model leadership standards, prioritize and schedule assignments, and monitor program performance.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, maintain accurate records, and produce quality products and services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 combined years of Aviation Operations Management experience in QA, ES&H, contracts, and/or Maintenance.
- Minimum 3 years of aviation QA management.
- Minimum 3 years of aviation ES&H management.
- Minimum 3 years of aviation maintenance management.
- Valid driver’s license and US Passport.
- Proficient with office automation software (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel).
- Willingness to work alternate shift schedules when necessary, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Eligible to obtain/maintain a Tier 3 US Government Clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
- US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior U.S. Navy aviation experience on H-60 aircraft highly preferred.
- 3 years SCA contract experience preferred.
Pay
$86,000 annually. The compensation range is a good-faith estimate and may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
