About the Role
Under the direction of the Chief Nurse Executive (CNE) or the Supervising Registered Nurse (SRN) III, Correctional Facility (CF), the SRN II, CF is responsible for planning, assigning, supervising, and evaluating the work of nursing and other assigned staff in a service line delivery area. The SRN II, CF receives, disseminates, implements, and monitors adherence to policies and procedures, applies supervisory rules and principles, resolves personnel issues, sets goals for self and others, and ensures the continuity of quality patient care. Actively participates and supports the Complete Care Model.
Responsibilities
- Plan, assign, supervise, and evaluate the work of nursing and other assigned staff in a service line delivery area.
- Receive, disseminate, implement, and monitor adherence to policies and procedures.
- Apply supervisory rules and principles to resolve personnel issues.
- Set goals for self and others to ensure continuity of quality patient care.
- Actively participate in and support the Complete Care Model.
Pay
The monthly part-time salary range for this position is $5,802.50 to $7,263.50. Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 17—and related Excluded, Exempt, and Statutory Exempt employees—to have their base salary reduced by 3% and receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition based on the number of hours worked in the pay period.
Schedule
This part-time position requires working 20 hours per week. This is a limited-term position which may be extended or become permanent.
