About the role

Therapitas is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality therapy services to Spanish-speaking children in Oklahoma since 2015. We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary outpatient team in Oklahoma City.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for pediatric patients
  • Provide skilled intervention to improve strength, mobility, motor development, and functional independence
  • Document services in our easy-to-use electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists (OTs), speech-language pathologists (SLPs), and other team members to provide coordinated, family-centered care
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and Physical Therapy students

Requirements

  • DPT or PT degree from an accredited program
  • Oklahoma PT license or eligibility to obtain
  • 3+ years of experience in pediatrics
  • Willingness and eagerness to take on students and supervise PTAs
  • Passion for working with children and families
  • Mission-driven approach to care

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed to practice physical therapy in Oklahoma
  • Experience with Spanish language is not required, but we provide interpreter support
  • Ability to participate in Spanish Immersion Program (SIP) if interested
