Supervising Physical Therapist

About the role

Therapitas is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality therapy services to Spanish-speaking children in Oklahoma since 2009. We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary outpatient team in Oklahoma City.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for pediatric patients
• Provide skilled intervention to improve strength, mobility, motor development, and functional independence
• Document services in our easy-to-use EMR
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists (OTs), Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs), and other team members to provide coordinated, family-centered care
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and Physical Therapy students

Requirements

• DPT or PT degree from an accredited program
• Oklahoma PT license or eligibility to obtain
• 3+ years of experience in pediatrics
• Willingness and eagerness to take on students and supervise PTAs
• Passion for working with children and families
• Mission-driven approach to care

Qualifications

• Spanish proficiency is not required; interpreter support is provided
• Opportunity to participate in Spanish Immersion Program (SIP) if interested

Pay
