Supervisee in Social Work - Community Based Mental Health Therapist

What You’ll Do

• Provide individual and family therapy in home and community settings
• Support youth and families in achieving treatment goals and improving functioning
• Engage caregivers, schools, and other treatment professionals to strengthen support systems
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and case consultation
• Maintain timely documentation in accordance with agency and state requirements
• Ensure clients have access to 24/7 crisis support when needed

Compensation

• $22 – $27 per hour depending on experience
• Additional compensation includes:
• Mileage reimbursement
• Paid supervision and training
• Phone and supply reimbursement
• Opportunities for increased hours and advancement

Schedule and Workload

• Compass offers a flexible schedule where full-time status is achieved with approximately 105 hours per month (about 25 hours per week)
• This reduced full-time requirement allows clinicians to maintain a strong work-life balance while still qualifying for full benefits
• Clinicians typically schedule sessions during afternoons and evenings, with flexibility to structure their weekly schedule based on client needs

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related mental health field
• Eligible for Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work status in Virginia
• Valid driver’s license with minimum 1 year driving history and good driving record
• Availability for afternoon and evening appointments
• Commitment to providing community-based services
