About the role

Third Space Therapy combines the independence of private practice with the support of a group setting, focused on expanding Medicaid-covered behavioral healthcare. We're looking for passionate Associate Therapists to provide telehealth therapy to the Medicaid population.

Responsibilities

• Provide telehealth therapy to the Medicaid population
• Set your own hours and availability
• Decide which referrals to take
• Build a caseload that works for you
• Handle insurance, billing, and credentialing
• Book clients into your availability
• Work with a robust referral network
• Accrue hours toward full licensure with supervision support
• Deliver clinical work at a competitive rate
• Make a real difference for Medicaid members and help close gaps in access to care

Requirements

• A valid SISW license in good standing in the state of Virginia
• A Master’s degree in Social Work, with at least 6 months of hands-on therapy or assessment experience
• Your own malpractice coverage ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate)
• Comfort with EHR systems and other digital tools
• A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office, plus your own computer and reliable internet, for confidential virtual sessions
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred, and additional languages are a plus

• Knowledge of crafting effective, personalized treatment plans
• A collaborative spirit to work alongside clients in achieving their goals
• Skill in conducting thorough assessments to inform care strategies
