Superintendent - Washington, DC Metro Area (DC / Northern Virginia / Maryland)

Elite Executive Solutions is partnering with a leading electrical contractor to identify an experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee large-scale commercial electrical construction projects throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area, including Northern Virginia and Maryland. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a highly respected field professional who is passionate about safety, quality, production, and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations for commercial electrical construction projects from mobilization through closeout.
• Supervise Foremen, Journeymen, Apprentices, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Coordinate manpower planning, scheduling, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards.
• Conduct daily planning meetings and coordinate closely with Project Managers and executive leadership.
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation to ensure successful execution.
• Identify field challenges early and implement proactive solutions to minimize delays.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop future field leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Active Journeyman or Master Electrician License in Washington, DC, Virginia, or Maryland (Required).
• 8+ years of commercial electrical construction experience.
• Previous Superintendent or Senior Foreman leadership experience managing large commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, manpower planning, productivity, and field coordination.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Pay

Base Salary: $130,000–$180,000
