Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education from an accredited college or university.
- Current Ohio Administrative License or Alternative Ohio Administrative License or Superintendent Licensure.
- Minimum of five years of supervisory experience, including experience as a Principal or comparable educational leader.
- Minimum of three years of classroom teaching experience.
- Experience working in special education and supporting diverse or at-risk student populations.
- Experience leading multi-program educational services.
- Experience with compliance, accreditation, budgeting, and program development.
- Strong understanding of special education regulations and evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and daily oversight of all education and employment programs.
- Develop and implement initiatives that improve student outcomes, program quality, and organizational effectiveness.
- Ensure programs meet standards set by regulatory and accrediting organizations, including the Ohio Department of Education, DODD, OOD and CARF.
- Use data and best practices to drive continuous improvement and program growth.
- Support the implementation of special education services, including IEP processes, student outcomes, and family collaboration.
- Provide direction, coaching, and support to education leaders and staff.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Partner with Human Resources and Training teams to support recruitment, retention, onboarding, and employee development.
- Ensure teams have the resources and support needed to deliver high-quality services.
- Oversee department operations, budgets, reporting, and performance goals.
- Collaborate with senior leadership across Finance, HR, Quality, IT, and Operations.
- Identify opportunities for program expansion, community partnerships, and improved service delivery.
- Support enrollment growth, community engagement, and organizational initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with families, school districts, community partners, and external stakeholders.
- Represent Best Point within education and special education networks.
- Promote awareness of Best Point’s programs and services throughout the community.
- Work occasionally in the evening/weekends.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting at $105,000 based on experience.
