About the role
My client is a leading construction firm based in Northern Virginia. They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to join their dynamic team. This role is essential to managing and overseeing construction projects in occupied hospital spaces.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise construction projects in occupied spaces, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Oversee healthcare interior renovation projects, adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards.
- Cook up with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while working in occupied hospitals and healthcare facilities.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Mandatory: Occupied space experience.
- Mandatory: Healthcare construction experience, particularly interior renovations within the past 3 years.
- Strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Qualifications
Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
