Superintendent - Light Industrial/Commercial Construction

Our client is a growing General Contractor specializing in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, tenant improvement, and commercial projects throughout the western suburbs of Chicago.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations from groundbreaking through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspections.
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce job‑site safety standards.
• Monitor project quality and ensure contract compliance.
• Manage site logistics and manpower planning.
• Maintain project documentation and field reports.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and ownership teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience.
• Background in light industrial, warehouse, commercial, or manufacturing construction.
• Experience on projects ranging from $5 M to $50 M+.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and scheduling.
• OSHA certification preferred.
