Superintendent, K-12

About the role

As Superintendent, you will direct daily operations to ensure projects are safe, on schedule, within budget, and up to quality standards. Partnering closely with the Project Manager, you will lead short-range planning and field execution to deliver successful projects and guarantee client satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities

• Aid with scheduling, phasing, constructability reviews, and subcontractor procurement.
• Lead day-to-day field activities, manage subcontractors, and actively resolve field issues.
• Implement project schedules, control costs, and mitigate overall project risk.
• Enforce comprehensive quality control, safety policies, and site security.
• Manage permits, inspections, code compliance, and maintain accurate as-built drawings.
• Facilitate Foreman meetings, participate in OAC meetings, and produce daily reports.
• Train and mentor Field Engineers and Assistant Superintendents.
• Support business development by participating in RFQ/RFP responses and project interviews.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent overseeing K-12 construction projects.
• Must provide a project list showcasing K-12 project experience.
• 10-Hour OSHA Construction Certification.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
