Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all project construction field activities.
- Direct and motivate field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship.
- Create and maintain a weekly construction schedule and co-create the project’s master schedule.
- Proactively and collaboratively work to solve problems.
- Maintain excellent relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, coworkers and project stakeholders.
- Manage self-perform activities and track productivity milestones.
- Order materials, equipment, and schedule inspections.
- Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and rectify job site hazards.
- Ensure all company employees, contractors and site personnel adhere to company safety policy.
- Create a jobsite logistics plan and maintain an organized, clean, safe job site environment.

Overall Responsibilities and Authority
- Reports to the General Superintendent for personnel and production matters.
- Reports to the Project Manager for project business including project strategy, contractual issues, scheduling and execution of the work.
- Responsible for enforcing jobsite safety program.
- Responsible for determining the most efficient and productive methods for sequencing work and meeting production goals and schedule milestones.
- Responsible for directing, supervising, coaching and mentoring project foremen and field crews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management preferred but not required.
- 5 years of relevant project experience in scheduling, ordering materials, field supervision, quality control, safety and production of all phases of construction.
- Organized with a systematic approach to achieve accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and project stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word is required.
- Knowledge of Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Primavera, Navisworks, Microsoft Project, and Viewpoint project manager software is a plus.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledgeable in Storm Water Pollution Prevention, LEED, and material reuse is a plus.
