Superintendent - Inland Construction

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Manage and coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and project progression.
• Enforce all safety procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor project progress, budget adherence, and resource allocation to meet project goals.
• Inspect and ensure all construction work aligns with project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Communicate regularly with the Project Manager and other key stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues or changes.
• Schedule and oversee equipment deliveries, material logistics, and site setup.
• Resolve any on-site issues or disputes promptly to minimize project delays.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• A thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• The ability to troubleshoot issues and adapt to changing circumstances on-site.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs for reporting and scheduling (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management software).
• A valid TWIC Card.
• A valid driver’s license.
