Superintendent II
Cash Construction, a MasTec company, is seeking a Superintendent II to supervise day-to-day field construction of civil and infrastructure projects in Texas. This role focuses on earthwork, underground utilities, subgrade/base, and paving. Relocation assistance is available if needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to field construction personnel.
- Schedule daily/weekly field personnel and construction operations.
- Ensure productive, safe, and quality work execution.
- Interpret and apply project plans and specifications.
- Identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
- Manage material logistics, placement, and deliveries to optimize workflow (e.g., earthwork, base, bedding, pipe).
- Maintain daily paperwork, including as-built drawings, timecards, test reports, and email correspondence.
- Communicate and collaborate with field staff, management, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor and manage employee attendance, including notifying crews of rain days.
- Promote, execute, and adhere to the company’s safety program; conduct daily/weekly safety meetings and inspections.
- Review safe work plans and hazard assessments with crews before job commencement.
- Investigate worksite incidents, damage, or near misses with the Safety Department.
- Work safely to avoid injury to self or others.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a Superintendent (preferred).
- Ability to travel to various project sites across Texas.
- Valid and active OSHA 30 certification.
- Trench Safety and Excavation certification (preferred).
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
- Computer skills (a plus).
