Superintendent I (Traveling)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily subcontractor, foremen, and self-perform activities
• Initiate a project quality plan to monitor initiatives, document associated observations and ensure compliance to work quality standards
• Verify field conditions by conducting daily jobsite walkthroughs in addition to daily safe work plans and toolbox talks
• Maintain a detailed master schedule, create a two-week look ahead, and track critical dates of all activities affecting the project completion
• Coordinate and participate in pre-construction, weekly, and post-construction meetings
• Review construction documents, maintain on-site and in PlanGrid
• Generate pre-punch and punch lists, determine responsible subcontractors and ensure timely completion
• Build and nurture relationships with clients/owners, architects, developers, and subcontractors
• Actively promote Leopardo through participation in presenting new projects
• Assist in recruiting and training efforts

Education / Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in construction, engineering, architecture or related fields preferred and/or equivalent training and experience
• 2+ years of supervisory experience as a construction Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
• A comprehensive understanding of all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling and cost control
• Competency in construction technologies such as: scheduling software (Asta), daily reporting (Raken), Bluebeam, PlanGrid
• Ability to read and understand blueprints

Supervisory Requirements

• OSHA 30 Hour certification and First Aid/CPR certification are a plus

Pay

Target base salary range: $100-120k. This position is eligible for annual discretionary bonus and vehicle allowance.
