Superintendent I

The Role

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Superintendent I to join our Construction team and support the delivery of multifamily and mixed-use development projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their construction leadership career who wants to gain hands-on experience managing field operations while learning from experienced construction professionals. In this role, you'll own portions of a project, coordinate subcontractors, support safety and quality initiatives, and help ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to the highest standards.

What You'll Do

• Support the day-to-day field execution of multifamily and mixed-use construction projects from start to finish.
• Manage designated scopes of work and take ownership of key project components.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, and schedule adherence.
• Identify and proactively address jobsite risks related to safety, quality, scheduling, and productivity.
• Partner with project management and senior field leadership to review project schedules and support planning efforts.
• Ensure construction activities meet company quality standards and project specifications.
• Participate in daily and weekly project meetings and support coordination across trades.
• Conduct site walks, monitor progress, and document project activities.
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient construction site.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent construction experience.
• Experience in multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, or residential construction through internships, field engineering, assistant superintendent, or related roles.
• Knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, safety requirements, and quality control practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• OSHA certification or willingness to obtain certification.
