Overview of the business: Been in business for over 35 years and is recognized as one of the top Custom Home Builders in the Greater Boston Area.
Team size: 45+ people between office and field staff
Projects: They specialize in high-end residential construction, ground up and renovation projects worth up to $15M. Their bread and butter is $2-5M. They also have an in-house Home Services division that provides preventative maintenance.

Role Overview

Manage daily on-site construction activities to meet project timelines and budgets.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and material availability.
Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with all regulations.
Review project plans and specifications to ensure alignment with construction goals.
Communicate regularly with project managers and stakeholders to provide updates and address issues.
Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets established standards.
Maintain detailed records of project progress and site activities.
Resolve on-site challenges promptly to avoid delays.

Requirements

  • Experience managing construction projects within the property industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities to coordinate teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and plans.
  • Problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges efficiently.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in construction
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
