About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Superintendent Healthcare in the Construction industry to join our progressive team. This role is ideal for a professional with a solid background in construction, particularly in ground up, commercial finishes, finishes, and framing. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of healthcare construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of work are carried out to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily operations of healthcare construction projects, ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard.
- Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Managing project schedules, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
- Supervising and directing construction teams, providing guidance and support as necessary.
- Coinciding with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of all projects.
- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure that all work is being carried out to the highest standard.
- Resolving any issues or problems that may arise during the construction process, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on healthcare construction projects.
- Proven experience in ground up, commercial finishes, finishes, and framing.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as necessary.
- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
