Description
The Superintendent - Ground-Up Construction - NoVA will:
- Lead all day-to-day on-site construction operations for ground-up commercial projects.
- Manage project schedules, subcontractor coordination, logistics, and site sequencing.
- Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Conduct constructability reviews and proactively resolve field issues.
- Maintain strict quality control standards throughout all phases of construction.
- Ensure jobsite safety compliance and enforce OSHA regulations and best practices.
- Partner closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
Profile
The Superintendent - Ground-Up Construction - NoVA will have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
- Proven experience leading ground-up construction projects valued at $20M+
- Strong background in commercial, municipal, community, education, government, or similar large-scale projects.
- K-12, higher education, municipal, or government project experience highly preferred.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, and other construction management tools.
- Must be located in Northern Virginia or within a reasonable commuting distance, including Southern Maryland candidates near the Virginia market.

- Base salary ranging from $110,000 - $150,000, depending on experience.
