Job Summary

The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project schedules and budgets.
  • Supervise and manage construction crews and subcontractors.
  • Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Cookordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Resolve construction-related issues and problems.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with building codes.
  • Close out projects upon completion.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management.
  • Experience with construction project management software.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of construction techniques and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Experience with construction contracts and agreements.
  • Ability to manage budgets and costs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Location and Travel: 1171 Grill Rd Van Wert, OH 45891 May require frequent travel to job sites.

Work Environment

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Days and hours of work vary (Monday to Sunday with some overnight work).
  • Overtime is frequently required.
