The right candidate is prepared, consistent, and committed to the team. If you have over a decade of field experience and are ready to take it nationwide, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Own all on-site electrical operations, from mobilization to final energization and turnover, including conduit systems, feeders, switchgear, panels, transformers, lighting, controls, and specialty systems
  • Review drawings, one-lines, panel schedules, specifications, and submittals; identify constructability concerns early
  • Ensure full compliance with NEC requirements and local AHJ standards at every stage
  • Coordinate with utility providers for temporary power, permanent service, and inspections
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, general contractors, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Build and manage master schedules; maintain two-week look-ahead schedules for electrical sequencing
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to meet milestones
  • Administer and enforce the project safety program; lead by example daily
  • Conduct safety meetings, job hazard analyses, and weekly production meetings
  • Maintain as-built drawings, daily reports, and full project documentation
  • Track and follow up on RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
  • Mentor apprentices and junior supervisors

Requirements

  • 10+ years of commercial electrical construction experience, with a focus on retail locations and ground-up commercial projects
  • Proven track record of field leadership, managing multi-level crews, and delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Demonstrated dependability, clear communication, and a team-first mindset
  • Valid State Electrical Journeyman or Master License (required)
  • Deep working knowledge of NEC and commercial electrical systems
  • Experience managing inspections, utility coordination, and AHJ relationships
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical construction drawings and specifications independently
  • Experience with distribution centers, retail spaces, fueling stations, or similar commercial facility types (a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationwide up to 85%

Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $130,000–$160,000 based on qualifications
  • PTO
  • 401(k) match
  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
