We're looking for a seasoned Electrical Superintendent who knows commercial retail construction inside and out — someone who has walked hundreds of jobsites, commanded crews, and delivered results when it matters most. From mobilization to final energization and turnover, you'll be the driving force behind every aspect of electrical construction on commercial retail projects across the country. This role demands someone who is dependable under pressure and understands that a winning project is always a team effort. Lead all on-site electrical operations — conduit systems, feeders, switchgear, panels, transformers, lighting, controls, and specialty systemsReview drawings, one-lines, panel schedules, specifications, and submittals; catch constructability concerns before they become problemsEnsure full compliance with NEC requirements and local AHJ standards at every stageCoordinate with utility providers for temporary power, permanent service, and inspectionsPartner closely with Project Managers, general contractors, engineers, and subcontractors — success here is built on collaboration, not silosBuild and manage master schedules; maintain two-week look-ahead schedules specific to electrical sequencingCoordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to hit every milestone — your crew counts on you to have it rightAdminister and enforce the project safety program — lead by example, every single dayConduct safety meetings, job hazard analyses, and weekly production meetingsMaintain as-built drawings, daily reports, and full project documentationTrack and follow up on RFIs, submittals, and shop drawingsMentor apprentices and junior supervisors — a great team player builds more great team players What We're Looking For We need someone the team can count on — a leader who brings consistency, accountability, and a genuine commitment to the people working alongside them. 10+ years of commercial electrical construction experience, with a strong focus on retail locations and ground-up commercial projectsProven track record of field leadership — you've managed multi-level crews and delivered projects on time, on budget, and to specDemonstrated dependability: you follow through, you communicate, and your team never wonders where you standA true team player who collaborates effectively with Project Managers, GCs, inspectors, subcontractors, and field crews — and earns their respectValid State Electrical Journeyman or Master License (required) Deep working knowledge of NEC and commercial electrical systemsExperience managing inspections, utility coordination, and AHJ relationshipsAbility to read and interpret electrical construction drawings and specifications without hand-holdingExperience with distribution centers, retail spaces, fueling stations, or similar commercial facility types is a strong plusValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to pass background check and pre-employment drug screeningWillingness and ability to travel nationwide up to 85% — this role goes where the work is What You'll Get Competitive salary: $130,000–$160,000 based on qualificationsA long-term home with a growing company that values quality craftsmanship, disciplined execution, and people who take pride in their workThe opportunity to build landmark retail projects across the countryA culture where dependability is recognized and teamwork is how we win — every project, every time Getting Started All new hires will complete an in-person orientation and training at our Fort Worth, TX office during the first week after hire.
