About the role
rand* construction corporation is an award-winning, woman-owned national commercial contractor specializing in tenant interiors, retail, restaurants, and building renovations. We are seeking a dynamic Superintendent who is looking for a company where they can learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all the field staff on a project and ensuring projects are built according to plans and specifications.
- Supervise work of carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure material, tools/equipment, information, and staff requirements are on the jobsite in the proper place in a timely fashion.
- Handle all correspondence and forms required by the rand* office, such as daily reports, time sheets, safety reports, and accident reports.
- Visible, integral team member in the Colorado market.
Requirements
- 8 years experience as lead superintendent on commercial interior, retail, building renovation projects.
- Expertise with managing projects up to $10M.
- Experience directing subcontractors and scheduling all work according to the requirements of the project schedule.
- High school diploma and two years of college preferred; or equivalent years of experience required.
- Exemplary performance in all project safety related categories.
- Interface with the client and client's leadership team at the highest level on schedule, updates, and challenges while effectively communicating plans and alternative solutions.
- Periodically audit jobsites during site walks to ensure standards are being met.
- Aid teams with complex and specialty quality control issues.
- Aid teams with pre-punch walks to identify quality trends and ensure smooth/timely punch list process.
- Act as point of contact to client.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
