Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all field staff on a project and ensuring projects are built according to plans and specifications.
  • Supervise work of carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure material, tools/equipment, information, and staff requirements are on the jobsite in the proper place and on time.
  • Handle all correspondence and forms required by the rand* office, such as daily reports, time sheets, safety reports, and accident reports.
  • Visible, integral team member in the Dallas market.

Requirements

  • 8 years experience as lead superintendent on commercial interior, retail, building renovation projects.
  • Expertise with managing projects up to $10M.
  • Experience directing subcontractors and scheduling all work according to the project schedule.
  • High school diploma and two years of college preferred; or equivalent years of experience required.
  • Exemplary performance in all project safety related categories.
  • Interface with the client and client's leadership team at the highest level on schedule, updates, and challenges.
  • Absolutely assist teams with complex and specialty quality control issues.
  • Absolutely assist teams with pre-punch walks to identify quality trends and ensure smooth/timely punch list process.
  • Act as point of contact to the client.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and two years of college preferred; or equivalent years of experience required.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and non-routine matters independently.
  • Proficient in project management software.
  • Knowledgeable about industry standards and regulations.
