About the role
We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to run ground up commercial projects, including tilt ups and grocery stores, from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of large and small ground up commercial building projects
- Establish schedules and control costs within contract budget, plans, and specifications
- Direct job site personnel, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and procurement
- Serve as point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards on site
- Document schedules, RFIs, work orders, meeting minutes, back charges, purchase orders, and safety reports
- Track payroll and performance of direct reports
Qualifications
- 4+ years of superintendent experience on ground up commercial building projects
- Experience with large and small commercial projects, including tilt ups and grocery stores
- Proven ability to manage schedules, project costs, and subcontractors on active job sites
- Demonstrated leadership and delegation skills over crews and direct reports
- Strong knowledge of building processes and construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Understanding of all construction trades and subcontractor scopes of work
- Experience with project documentation including RFIs, back charges, purchase orders, and meeting minutes
Pay
Salary: $110,000 - $145,000 per year
