Essential Job Accountabilities

  • Create and promote a safety program fostering a safe work environment and a culture of participation.
  • Create and/or foster a quality culture that recognizes the impact of quality on operations and ensures a product or service that is a source of pride for workers and pleasing to customers.
  • Supervise the total construction effort to ensure projects are constructed according to design, budget, and schedule and staffed appropriately.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions and provide input with scheduling, engineering, and material control to meet project objectives.
  • Interface with all on-site work teams (including subcontractors) to resolve problems, ensure quality, safety, scheduling, and achieve project objectives.
  • Aid project management in developing and implementing project Work Plans and procedures, working documents, and standards to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Comply, understand, and support corporate safety, quality, and environmental initiatives to ensure a compliant work environment.
  • Recruit/recommend and hire qualified individuals to maintain high-performing teams.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 3+ years of civil wet utilities construction experience.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change, take initiative, and attempt tasks independently.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
