To support our continued growth, VMG is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects. This position is responsible for managing daily jobsite activities from startup through closeout. The Superintendent will lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors, manage project schedules and resources, and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and according to VMG's quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction leader who takes ownership, communicates effectively, and understands how to balance safety, quality, productivity, cost, and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

• Oversee daily jobsite operations with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity
• Lead projects from mobilization and startup through punch-list completion and closeout
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, milestones, and sequencing
• Support manpower planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Coordinate labor, materials, tools, equipment, and site access
• Represent VMG during meetings with clients, general contractors, and project partners
• Identify project challenges early and implement practical solutions

Team Leadership

• Lead and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and other project personnel
• Set clear expectations for safety, productivity, quality, and professional conduct
• Assign work and monitor individual and crew performance
• Provide coaching, direction, and constructive performance feedback
• Promote a respectful, accountable, and team-oriented jobsite culture
• Coordinate effectively with project managers and other internal departments
