Superintendent

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage employees, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
• Ensure quality control on all construction work, maintaining high standards.
• Cover all aspects of project management, including ASI’s, RFI’s, and material submittals.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure their scope of work is completed accurately and on time.
• Ensure all safety, health, and environmental standards are met and maintained.
• Resolve conflicts in construction progress and communicate with project teams for effective resolutions.
• Maintain daily updates of on-site activities.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Conduct site walk-throughs and preside over necessary meetings for work coordination.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting, bidding, and award of subcontracts.
• Cover project material submissions and maintain records.
• Ensure job site cleanliness and organization are maintained.
• Aid in hiring of sub-tier employees and maintain subcontractor compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of verifiable construction experience; relevant certifications preferred.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and longitudinally traverse job sites including elevated structures.

Working Conditions

• Construction site environment, with exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
• The role involves physical activities such as climbing and balancing.
