About the role

We’re looking for a dependable Superintendent to support industrial cleaning operations by coordinating field activities, supervising crews, and ensuring safe, efficient job execution. This role serves as a key link between customers, field personnel, and branch leadership while helping deliver high-quality service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, organization, and coordination of industrial cleaning projects and site operations.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships through routine site visits and direct interaction during project execution.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure customer requirements and job specifications are achieved.
  • Aid in estimating, bidding, and project planning activities under branch leadership guidance.
  • Identify labor, equipment, and material requirements needed for successful job completion.
  • Coordinate crew scheduling and resource allocation to ensure timely project execution.
  • Verify that personnel arrive at job sites with the proper equipment and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct safety meetings and verify completion of required environmental and safety documentation.
  • Support preparation and accuracy of work orders, payroll documentation, and billing records.
  • Maintain job history files to improve future planning, resource utilization, and project efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and direction to supervisors and field personnel at customer locations.
  • Perform site audits to verify quality standards, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor project progress and help resolve operational issues that could impact schedules or service delivery.
  • Balance multiple projects and priorities while maintaining cost-effective operations.
  • Respond to emergency service needs and support operations during non-traditional work hours when required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support branch and customer needs.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in Industrial Systems Technology or related field preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license required; a CDL preferred.
  • Experience in industrial cleaning, equipment maintenance, construction, or a related industrial environment preferred.
  • A working knowledge of industrial operations, mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout extended shifts.
  • The ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in physically demanding industrial environments for 8–12+ hours.
  • The ability to work around industrial equipment, elevated work areas, confined spaces, chemicals, fumes, dust, noise, and varying weather conditions while wearing required PPE, including respirators.
  • The ability to travel to customer locations, including overnight assignments when required.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, holidays, emergency response situations, and on-call assignments as business needs dictate.
