Summary
Mortenson is seeking a Superintendent to provide coordination, planning, and supervision to assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft activities. This role offers opportunities at both level 1 and 2, with compensation based on experience and location.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement to support project schedules
- Review and understand construction documents and contract details
- Manage project schedules, logistics, and tools
- Coach, supervise, and develop team members
- Ensure proper task coding and track progress
- Build and maintain relationships with diverse teams
- Lead safety, quality, risk, and compliance efforts
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management
- OR 10 years trade experience
- Current driver’s license
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Understanding of construction law and business practices
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate company policies
- Effective communication and active listening skills
Superintendent I
- Minimum 5 years construction management or related experience
- Base pay range: $111,400 - $167,100
Superintendent 2
- Minimum 8 years construction management or related experience
- Base pay range: $130,100 - $195,200
