Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of project execution, including contract documents, scheduling, staffing, budgeting, and team coordination.
- Partner with preconstruction teams on estimating, project planning, means and methods, and scheduling strategies.
- Manage project teams, subcontractors, and field operations to ensure efficient workflow and successful delivery.
- Implement and enforce safety, quality control, and environmental compliance programs while maintaining OSHA standards.
- Monitor construction progress, inspect workmanship, and ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and industry standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners.
- Manage project documentation, daily reports, schedules, procurement tracking, and field coordination.
- Utilize CPM and Lean scheduling practices to maintain timelines and develop recovery plans when needed.
- Lead coordination meetings, pre-planning efforts, and process improvements to enhance productivity and project outcomes.
- Oversee punch lists, closeout activities, and final project turnover.
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of lead Site Superintendent experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field
- OSHA 30 certificate or ability to attain it within 12 months of hire
- Experience with education projects
- Experience with master scheduling
- Proficient in MS Office Platforms and Procore
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to influence, negotiate and drive project schedules
- Knowledge of all elements of commercial construction and understanding of skilled trades
